The activation servers were closed for CS2, so Adobe has provided a CS2 version that does not need activation. CS2 runs on the older PPC Macs, not the newer Intel macs, with the exception of Snow Leopard using Rosetta emulation.
Use the serial number provided with the download, not your original one.
