I just went 5 days of having this same issue and this was after I have been using Muse for over a year. I went through all the steps from the link above and could not get it to work. I had 4 chats with Adobe people and could not get it to work. Then just yesterday I noticed an icon on my toolbar and it w as called Rocket Tab. I was installed winrar last week and noticed this was added on as well. It took me a while to get it off my computer and I thought it was gone but the Rocket Tab icon was still visible. Right click on it and turn it off and then Muse started working. When I rebooted the Rocket Tab came back. So I looked for it to delete in Add/Remove programs and it was not there. So when I rebooted again and it was visible on the task bar, it did appear in add/remove programs. So it seemed very hard to get rid of but after that Muse is working as promised. So check to see that Rocket Tab was not installed with you not knowing. Very frustrating week but I finally found the solution my self. Maybe Adobe can add this to the list of problems for customers.
