CarlisleK --  I am wondering just WHY everyone isn't going BACK to PS CC ?  "They" (adobe) strongly recommended NOT to uninstall 2014 !???  Just wonder why that is--because they will stop supporting it?  I agree with you. Obviously there is a real major change in the basic way the 2014 is written that I am losing my add-ons -- that I PAID for and have brought forward, some for several versions of PS !  Also, as with EVERY TYPE of Software a person downloads, the software changes ALL the defaults...and I am supposed to do "work-arounds" because ADOBE didn't see all these incompatibility problems with Windows O/S ??(I don't know about Apple) Most of my problems are just GENERIC to the way Windows has written their system--at least since XP.  Adobe gives excuses like computer techs--first thing they say is--well it must be a virus !! Adobe is now talking about we need to update a graphics card--HARDWARE upgrades, no less.  Now, I am fortunate in one thing. I had to do a total re-install of W-7 last month, and basically  this Dell XPS , with more than adequate hardware--is basically dedicated to PS and related programs plus the Firefox Browser..

The question should be "WHY CAN'T WE STOP UPDATING AND STAY WHERE WE ARE FOR AWHILE ??

I am steady using PS-CC anyway--they can update all they want to. 2014 is on my computer also--I am just ignoring in the best way I can..!! And I am not having that many incompatibility problems either.....
