Hello,
I always had lots of problems with premiere pro (I mainly work in after effects, so it wasn't a big deal for me anyway), but recently it just doesn't work at all.
I can't do anything anymore.
My pc isn't top class, but I wouldn't call it slow either - i7 6700k 4,5 gh 4 cores 8 threads, geforce 1070, 32 gb ram.
Premiere was always working slow for some reason even right after I formated the discs and reinstalled the whole system, but it was manageable.
Lately I had to update the program to 2019 to work on my friend's project and then it all started.
I have no preview - it either shows me every 20th frame or just stops the preview on the first one (audio is playing normally).
I can't see anything unless I hit space - the preview screen is black.
I have to render everything 2-3 times because there are always problems - either the program doesn't update my latest changes (even when I autosave before rendering) or just skips some layers in timeline entirely.
Any ideas on how to fix that?
Is there an option to prerender the preview so it runs smoothly before I make some new adjustments, just like in after effects?
Is it even possible to do anything about it or should I simply find a different editing program?
